The Serie 01 Pro is born: the new generation of premium Prometeon tyres with the PIRELLI brand for long haul, regional, urban and construction sites use.

The Serie 01 Pro is the result of four years of studies building on our experiences in Europe, Africa and South America; we took all the Prometeon know-how and brought it to Asia Pacific market. It is the most important product launch in the history of Prometeon Tyre Group in APAC, the only tyre manufacturer in the world fully focused on the Truck & Bus, Agro and OTR sectors.

Innovation and Sustainability were the key targets for Prometeon’s Research and Development team when developing the new range. The result represents the highest level in terms of total cost of ownership and product durability, whilst still considering product sustainability, thanks to the technological solutions developed in R&D centers of the company.

R&D effort was focused on increasingly effective management of operating costs, to ensure high mileage on one side and "active sustainability" on the other: longer tyre life and lower rolling resistance, reducing commercial vehicles’ fuel consumption. 

There was an intense focus on longer tyre life, high mileage and improved rolling resistance for lower fuel consumption to obtain a very balanced product, with the ability to offer the best performance while fully respecting the sustainability principles with the same safety standards. 

During new 01 Pro series development, high importance was given to compatibility with Electric Vehicles (EV): heavy weights of batteries, fast discharge during use and high torque generated during accelerations represent big challenges for tyres. Thanks to the new dedicated technological platform, Prometeon guarantees that all latest generation tyres are suitable for use on Electric, Hybrid and Combustion Engine Vehicles. 
In addition, the new Serie is suitable for all road conditions, even the most extreme ones, including snow. Indeed, all our tyres are marked M+S. (Three-Peak Mountain Snowflake certification + studless tyres are under development)

Compared to the previous range, the Serie 01 pro improves in all performances:

R01 PROWAY

The latest generation of tyres for regional transport designed for maximum versatility and high safety standards in all road conditions.

It features a wider and deeper tread pattern to promote high mileage, safety and tyre reliability in a wide variety of conditions. It is a best in class in term of delivering great balance between high mileage and low fuel consumption. 

H01 PROWAY

The new tyre line dedicated for long distance and highway routes.

Designed to provide low fuel consumption and total cost of ownership optimization. The product features an improved rolling resistance coefficient, balanced with mileage performance. Moreover, due to a revised design and wider tread pattern, high focus is given on wet grip performance to promote safety.

 

U01 URBAN PRO

The latest generation of tyres for urban passenger vehicles in stop & go traffic conditions, low average speed and continuous changes in road surfaces.

The product features and increased load index. This allows to transport more people and more powerful batteries for EVs, as indicated in the tyre marking on the sidewall. The tyre line offers a reinforced structure thanks to dedicated technologies to prevent carcass damages and a new tread pattern to Enache high traction and grip in low adherence conditions.

 

G01 ON OFF PRO MULTIAXLE

The new tyre line for mixed use on roads, on construction sites and under aggressive tread-wear conditions. This latest generation of products provides longer tyre usage thanks to optimized contact pressure and features a new tread pattern dimensions to increase traction.

 

M01 PROWAY

The latest generation of tyres designed be used on construction sites and under aggressive tread-wear condition.

The tyre line features high mileage in any condition of usage and good resistance to highly abrasive surfaces. A wider and deeper tread pattern enhance higher mileage, safety and tyre reliability.
