Production of the first Prometeon-branded tyres for the European and Turkish markets begins
The Prometeon-branded Serie 02 tyres, which will be produced at the historic Izmit plant in Turkey, have been unveiled. With the launching of the Prometeon product brand, the Serie 02 expands with the new R02 line, developed for regional applications and available in Europe and Turkey starting from October. Over the last 7 years, more than 185 million euro have been invested in the Prometeon factory in Izmit, which recently received the ISCC Plus certification from the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification organisation.

Prometeon S02 Pista, designed for extreme off-road conditions, will debut on the sands of Saudi Arabia in the world’s toughest raid.The tyres will be fitted on the trucks of the Italtrans and Tibau teams.
