United Nations Global Compact

Corporate sustainability is pursued thanks to a value system and a principles-based approach of doing business which imply to adopt operating standards that meet fundamental responsibilities in the areas of human rights, labour, environment and anti-corruption. Responsible companies enact the same values and principles wherever they have a presence and know that good practices in one area do not offset harm in another.

By incorporating the Ten Principles of the United Nations Global Compact into policies, strategies, procedures, culture of integrity and good practices in the company, Prometeon Tyre Group is not only upholding its basic responsibilities towards people and planet, but also setting the stage to achieve the SDGs within 2030.

Since the beginning, the United Nations Global Compact has proposed a series of initiatives to provide support and define strategies and partnerships to pursue the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) launched in September 2015 in New York to accompany the activities of sustainable enterprises until 2030.
